At MisherTech, we’re not just building software — we’re building pathways.
Founded with purpose, MisherTech is a minority- and woman-owned tech company born from real-world challenges. We understand what it means to be overlooked, underestimated, or left out of opportunities. That’s why we’ve made it our mission to invest in people who’ve been left behind by traditional tech pipelines — especially veterans.
This commitment is deeply personal.
Our Phillip & Brady Steele Memorial Scholarship was created in honor of two extraordinary brothers — proud veterans who embodied discipline, resilience, and selfless service. Their story is part of our story. And through this scholarship, we aim to ensure that their legacy lives on through future technologists who share their grit and potential.
Why Veterans?
Because transitioning from the military into civilian careers is hard — harder than most people realize.
Veterans face unique barriers in tech:
-
Gaps in formal education
-
Lack of access to modern tools
-
Little visibility into where to start
But they also bring unmatched strengths:
-
Leadership under pressure
-
Process-driven thinking
-
A deep-rooted sense of mission and teamwork
MisherTech sees that potential — and we act on it.
Building More Than a Company
MisherTech is building a future where access, equity, and innovation go hand-in-hand. We’re creating a space where someone from the South Side of Chicago, a single mother in Nashville, or a returning veteran from Georgia can learn to code, deploy an app, or launch a product — without gatekeeping or elitism.
And we’re just getting started.
If you’re a veteran looking to break into tech, a supporter who believes in our mission, or an organization looking to collaborate, we invite you to reach out.
Because this isn’t just about one scholarship.
This is about rewriting what’s possible — together.
